This project is developing several biorefinery business cases. Here, the specific advantages can be identified on a small scale with the aim to utilize this knowledge on a broader scale. The project focuses on green leaf refining (beet, stevia), production of PHAs (raw material for plastic substitutes), maize refining, small-scale sugar beet refining, biogas production and raw material screening. Also, for a foreign business case of one of the partner companies, a life cycle analysis (LCA) was conducted. ACRRES works together with 25 businesses in this PPS project.
