Switch is the field lab for the energy systems of the future. The knowledge and experience of ACRRES are combined with the energy expertise of TNO. Switch offers on a semi-full scale the same energy sources and production profiles as large parks such as those realized on land and at sea. The 6 small wind turbines of 10 kW combined with 40 kWp solar energy, 50 kW electrolysis and a 40 kW battery system can be used for practical simulations. Switch is suitable for testing and demonstrating new techniques in the field of ‘Smart-Grid’ and ‘Smart-Energy’. Based on the wishes of the partners/customers, ACRRES and TNO offer customized solutions.
